Basti Treatment

As mentioned in the quote above, basti treatment is classified as the best treatment for vitiated Vata Dosha and is an important treatment procedure in Panchakarma. We have a number of clients undergoing panachakarma here at the clinic, including enema treatments.

One of our clients is about to start their Yoga basti procedure. Yoga basti is a series of 8 basti enema treatments. The client will come into the clinic for 8 days to undergo the treatment. The yoga basti consist of 3 Niruha basti (decoction, cleansing enemas) and 5 Anuvasana basti (oil-based enemas) in alternating sequence, ending with 2 Anuvasana bastis.

Yoga basti treatment is one of the best for encouraging both deeper cleansing and nourishment of the body. Great for neurological disorders, improving strength and digestive function, balancing weight, enhancing concentration and memory and so much more.
