Lepana is a specialised herbal paste using Ayurvedic herbs that have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and joint-nourishing properties.
Commonly used herbs might include Ashwagandha, Shallaki (Boswellia), Guggulu, Turmeric, Ginger, Garlic, Moringa and others.
The herbs are mixed with tamarind water, herbal decoctions, or lemon juice to create a paste with the desired consistency.
