What is Pinda Sveda? Pinda Sveda is a unique Ayurvedic treatment where a medicinal poultice is used to massage the body. It is many of our client’s favourite treatments!

The course will take place over three days at the Lakshmi Ayurveda Academy.
This course is great for students and practitioners who would like to learn how to effectively prepare for and provide Pinda Sveda Treatment.
We make the bundles using a variety of ingredients, leaves, and herbs suited to the client’s needs, to encourage deep nourishment. Heat, pressure and oil are applied simultaneously in this treatment and are ideal for strengthening the neuromuscular system, strengthening the soft tissue, joints and muscle, reducing inflammation and is often used in degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis.
What you will learn:
- Different Pinda Sveda techniques
- Which ingredients to use, the cooking process and how to prepare the potali
- Massage sequence
- Indications and contraindications
- Which oils to use
Prerequisites: It is required that you have previous experience in massage.
We prefer that you have taken our certified Lakshmi Abhyanga course but will accept students with outside training on a case-by-case basis.
