In order to be healthy we need to have a good functioning Agni (digestive fire) for the process of digestion, absorption and the assimilation of nutrients. 

In your Ayurvedic consultation we will assess your Agni 🔥🔥🔥. This is done with an in depth interview but also by looking at your tongue 👅 and evaluating your Pulse. You will be amazed by the accuracy of the tongue and pulse diagnoses. 😮

During an Ayurvedic consultation, the practitioner will complete Jivha Pariksha, tongue analysis, as part of your Ayurvedic examination. The practitioner will assess the size, colour, moisture, shape, marks, and coating of the tongue that may provide insight into the health of the client.

If there is a thick coating, it may indicate AMA, digestive toxins, have accumulated. The organs of the body are represented on the tongue in different locations and an experienced practitioner will be able to assess potential conditions the client may be experiencing. Tongue analysis is used in combination with other Ayurvedic examinations.
