- Rasa (taste) = sweet.
- Virya (potency) = cold.
- Vatapitta (reducing) qualities.
- Samshramana (bowel cleansing qualities).

Karma/ Action: Vata reducing by madhura (sweet) and Singdha (properties) and Pitta reducing by sheeta (cool) veerya.
