Yashtimadhu is the Sanskrit word for licorice. The ingredients included are amalaki, licorice, milk and sesame oil.

We suggest using the oil for the body, face, hair, nasya treatment and oil massage. The other benefits include improving the growth and health of hair, including beards!

Our homemade oil is great for Pitta/Vata skin skin, complexion promoting and a light oil - perfect as we move into the warmer weather ☀️

Palita is the Sanskrit description of the premature greying of hair. This is one of Yashtimadhuka oils benefits, treating premature greying. The classical reference for this oil can be found in the Cakradatta 55:114.
