What does an Ayurvedic Consultation look like?
Did you know we that by looking at your tongue and by feeling your pulse that the functional health of the organs, bodily tissues and systems can be detected?
Our bodies are magnificent and the methods of examination through Ayurvedic assessment provide a depth of insight into our overal health.
An Ayurvedic assessment will discuss the client as a whole, taking into consideration each persons physical, mental and spiritual health. During your consultation we will speak about your medical history, current conditions and lifestyle and diet.
Ayurveda speaks about Rogi Pariksha, which are the methods of examining a patient. An experienced Ayurvedic practitioner will practice Trividha Pariksha. This includes darshana, sparshana, and prashna - meaning inspection, palpation and questioning of a patient. This includes tongue, pulse, hair, nail and facial analysis.
