2027 Utsadana and Udvarthanam Training Course
Join us for our newest Ayurvedic therapist training - our Udvarthanam and Utsadana training course!
Udvarthanam and Utsadana are specialised Ayurvedic treatments. Herbal paste (Utsadana) or powder (Udvarthanam) is applied and deeply massaged into the body. Specific massage movements are used improve to the circulatory system and aid in improving metabolic activity. This is highly beneficial in reducing excess fat and toning the skin and muscle. This treatment is ideal for treating obesity and promotes improved skin complexion.
Dates: Wednesday Februrary 17th - Friday February 19th 2027
Times: 9am-3pm each day
Cost: $1,490
Included: Course workbook, chai and snacks
Location: Lakshmi Ayurveda in Fremantle
This three-day course offers in-depth training in Udvarthanam and Utsadana treatments. There is an additional 2 hours mandatory online learning to complete in addition to the in-person training.
This course is certified by IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapists), an internationally recognised certification body. Participants are eligible to apply for professional indemnity insurance as a complementary therapist upon successfully completing the course.
To meet pre-requisites, applicants must have completed one of the following:
- Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours)
- Ayurvedic Studies (300 hours)
- Massage Training (minimum 16 hours)
- Lakshmi’s Abhyanga Therapist Training
