This course is great for students and practitioners who would like to learn how to effectively prepare for and provide Pinda Sveda Treatment, specifically focusing on Jambeera Pinda Sveda.
What is Pinda Sveda? Pinda Sveda is a unique Ayurvedic treatment where a medicinal poultice is used to massage the body. It is many of our client’s favourite treatments!
We make the bundles using a variety of ingredients, leaves, and herbs suited to the client’s needs, to encourage deep nourishment. Heat, pressure and oil are applied simultaneously in this treatment and are ideal for strengthening the neuromuscular system, strengthening the soft tissue, joints and muscle, reducing inflammation and is often used in degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis.

- Different Pinda Sveda techniques, focusing on Jambeera Pinda Sveda.
- Which ingredients to use, the cooking process and how to prepare the potali
- Massage sequence
- Indications and contraindications
- Which oils to use
Prerequisites: It is required that you have previous experience in Abhyanga massage. We prefer that you have taken our certified Lakshmi Abhyanga course but will accept students with outside training on a case-by-case basis.
