A More Enjoyable way to Drink Triphala!

Triphala is one of the most popular and well known Ayurvedic herbal medicines🪴

This classical formula is made up of the dried fruits from three plants. They are: Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) and Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica). Amalaki is mostly used to treat Pitta conditions, Haritaki for Vata, and Bibhitaki for Kapha.

And so, the combination of these three fruits together create a perfect synergy for balancing Tridosha in the body. On top of this Triphala has a wide variety of uses, including:

🌿 Promotes overall digestive health: acts as a gentle laxative/ regulates the bowels, reduces bloating & gas, improves metabolism and therefore aids in weight loss / weight management

🌿 Detoxification: helps to eliminate toxins (Ama) from the body

🌿 Immunity: high in antioxidants, vitamin C and is anti-inflammatory

🌿 Skin and hair: improves skin tone, reduces acne, promotes hair growth, strengthens the hair and improves hair shine

🌿 Eye health: improves vision, dry eyes and eye strain

🌿 & much more!

Triphala is available in both powder and capsule form. If you have taken Triphala powder before, you will know that it… ah… has an unusual taste 🙃😝. So, for this reason many people choose capsules instead. Alternatively, we have just created our NEW Triphala tea bags! This makes taking triphala powder much more enjoyable! Having it as a tea/ herbal infusion rather than mixing the powder directly into water results in a more subtle and palatable taste, plus it also removes that muddy-like-texture many people don’t like… It’s also very convenient and easy to prepare 😄🙏

Simply place 1 teabag in a cup of boiling water, and allow to steep for 5 or more minutes. You can keep the teabag, and use it again a second time… meaning you get two cups of Triphala tea from one tea bag 👌.

Although small amounts of Triphala are generally safe for short term use in most people, it is best to speak to a practitioner regarding your use.
