It is sad to say goodbye to our very special Panchakarma client from Germany

Marion (my sister) has had some health challenges, suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for over 10 years.

I am so proud of her completing such a strict Panchakarma programme. It is more than heartwarming to witness the transformation.

Her treatment programme:

  1. Deepana / Pachana: improving her digestive fire and burning up the sticky Ama (toxins)
  2. Rukshana (drying and lightening treatment with Udvarthanam powder massage etc …. )
  3. Snehapana - drinking of medicated ghee
  4. External Sneha - Abhyanga treatments (lots of oil massages with medicated oil)
  5. Svedana - Sudation to move the toxins into the digestive tract (Marion was sitting in the traditional Ayurvedic steam box)
  6. Virechana - bowel cleanse (she felt truly cleansed afterwards)
  7. Samsarjana Karma - restoring agni with a light diet of rice soups.
  8. Basti therapy - Anuvasana and Niruha basti (enemas)

And many other body therapies such as Shirodhara, Pinda Sveda, Lepana and more.

A few weeks later (Marion’s words)

- more energy

- feeling of lightness

- large joints - “VIEL BESSER” she says. Much much better!

- more flexibility and less morning stiffness

- feeling more awake mentally

- I feel more like myself

- feeling of calmness and more patience

- I can’t wait to implement the Ayurvedic lifestyle once I am back home in Germany

And most importantly:

Marion is off all her rheumatoid medication JAK inhibitor and blood pressure medication. We have discussed this with her rheumatologist!

We will miss you at the Lakshmi Clinic @sisterMarion

Luckily the goodbye is not for too long as Marion pre-booked her next treatment programme!

Thank you to the whole Lakshmi team providing classical authentic Ayurvedic treatments.
