    Foraging the Lakshmi garden for wild fennel and mint

    Wild fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is a versatile plant with many culinary, medicinal, and ecological uses.

    Fresh wild fennel tea, made from the leaves of the wild fennel plant, offers a milder, more delicate flavor compared to tea made from fennel seeds. Here’s how to prepare it. 

    How to Make Fresh Wild Fennel Mint Tea

    Ingredients:

    a handful of fresh wild fennel and mint 

    4 cups  of boiling water

     

    1. Gather a handful of fresh wild fennel and mint. 

    2. Rinse the fennel thoroughly to remove any dirt.

    3. Place the fennel and mint in a saucepan. Pour the water over them and simmer for 10-15 minutes. 

    4. Strain and serve

    5.  Enjoy
