First Day of Abhyanga Therapist training

Today was the first day of our Certified Abhyanga Therapist Training Course ✨💆🏻♀️🌷 .

For those of you who don’t know, Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic body treatment, a full body oil massage. Ayurveda loves to use lots of oil 💛 !!! Warm herbal oil is deeply nourishing for all the tissues, and is very calming and grounding for the mind and nervous system 🧘♀️🌱🙏 .

The first day is always lots to take in, with a mixture of both theory and practical. Today we learnt about the fundamental principles of Ayurveda 📚 , as well starting off the practical component of head, neck and shoulder massage.

If you are curious to learn about the fundamental principles of Ayurveda too… we have great news for you! Coming up on the 9th of May we have a 3-hour “Fundamentals of Ayurveda Workshop” here at the Lakshmi Clinic 🙂 . We would love for you to join us.
