Another Successful Marma workshop with Dr Shishir Prasad!

What an exciting day for the marma workshop today at the Lakshmi Ayurveda Academy.

Dr. Shishir Prasad has been amazing guiding all the participants to identify Marma Points and explain their importance for overall health and well-being with hands-on practical training. His goal is to empower people to heal through Marma Therapy.

We enjoyed learning from him, it has been a long day full of curiosity, wonder and fun! 

A big thank you to all who participated today and we look forward to hosting more workshops for all of you out there who might be interested in learning about what Ayurveda has to offer to your personal wellbeing!

Our next training course is our certified Kati Basti therapist training. 

Date: September 11th and 12th, 2025

Kati Basti is a body treatment, unique to Ayurveda whereby a dough dam is placed on the lower back and filled with warm medicated oil. Great for balancing Vata dosha, the basti treatment works to improve blood flow, reduce swelling and alleviate pain.
