Shirodhara was my very first Ayurvedic treatment experience in Nepal in 2003.

It was during my stay in Kathmandu where I was doing an ancient massage course with Rahul Bharati at the Healing Hands Centre.
This really was a significant time in my life finding out more and exploring spirituality, ancient healing systems, different cultures, different beliefs, meditation, yoga, mantras, chakras, tibetan singing bowls, massage therapies and more.
It just felt right listening to “Om Mani Padma Hum” and walking clockwise around the stupa.
I felt a peace within which I have never felt before.
One day after my visit at the stupa I went for a stroll in the streets of Kathmandu.
I am not sure what made me walk into the Ayurvedic Centre that day but I glad I opened the door.
I hope you will open the door and let Ayurveda into your life.
