    A classical Ayurvedic formulation called Nayopayam kashayam and in a jam like consistency it is called Nayopayam Lehyam.

    The main ingredients are the following three herbs/ spices. ???

    1. Bala

    2. Cumin

    3. Ginger

    ?Bala- Sida cordifolia

    Bala is a Sanskrit word which means strength. Its stem and roots are tough and this is literally what they impart - inner strength. It s a nourishing herb especially for the nervous system.

    Balya - strengthening

    Brmhana - anabolic

    Rasayana - rejuvenation

    Jivaniya - life and energy promoting

    ?Jeeraka - Cumin

    It has Deepana and pachana effect (digests toxins and enkindles digestion).

    Relives gas, Anulomana (promotes the downward flow of Vata). Cumin clears mucus and congestion (Shirovirechana).

    ?Sunthi - Ginger

    A universal medicine and an Ayurvedic practitioners best friend. Ginger clears Ama (toxins) from the plasma and blood. It warms the digestive system, increases Agni (digestive fire) and the secretion of enzymes. It clears colds and alleviates cough and breathing difficulties.


    Fresh ginger is called Ardraka and dry ginger is called Sunthi
