    Spiced Warm Apple Juice.

Looking for a warm morning drink to enjoy on a winters morning? Below is the recipe to our spiced apple ? juice.

From an Ayurvedic perspective, apples ? are cooling, sweet and astringent. Depending on the variety of apple the qualities may slightly change - for example Granny Smith ? may include more of the sour taste and be particularly astringent.

Due to the cool and drying qualities of apple they can be aggravating for Vata dosha when eaten raw or in the wrong season and without proper spices. Stewed apples eaten warm or warm apple juice, especially in winter ?are highly beneficial for nourishing the rasa dhatu (plasma) and improves hydration within the body.
