Have you considered starting a Spring detox program? We love seeing the transformation our clients experience through their Panchakarma treatments.
Curious to undergo your own Spring cleanse? Read more about a few suggestions below.
Ama is considered to be the root cause of most diseases. Spring is a great time to undergo seasonal Panchakarma treatment. Once the Ama is eliminated you will start to experience a feeling of lightness, and enthusiasm and the senses become more alert and active. Check out our recent reel to learn more about Panchakarma!
Bringing heat into our bodies with physical exercise is also important.
Exercise will encourage circulation and bring a feeling of lightness to the body. Also, dry body brushing can help to invigorate the lymphatic system and decrease fluid retention.
There are a number of Ayurvedic herbs and formulations to support your spring cleansing procedures – a few of which include Triphala, Trikatu, Tulsi, Ginger, Cumin, Black Pepper, and more.
Sipping on hot water with fresh ginger, black pepper, cumin and fennel seeds is suggested. Tulsi can help remove excess Kapha dosha from the upper respiratory tract. It also helps to improve circulation and works in weight management.
