    Happy Vasant Panchami
Also called Saraswati Puja in honour of

    Goddess Saraswati

This festival marks the end of winter and beginning of spring.

Soon we will write more about the six seasons occurring in the Indian calendar and mentioned in Ayurveda.

Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, the arts, music and wisdom.

She is dressed in white, often seated on a white lotus symbolises light, knowledge and truth.

She is carried by a swan, also called Hamsa in Sanskrit. You will see her holding a Veena, its melody known for filling the universe with Prana, vital energy.

Acknowledging Saraswati, we encourage the flow of wisdom and consciousness into our lives.

Ways to encourage Saraswati in your life:

      • Singing

      • Saraswati Mantra

      • Playing a musical instrument

      • Introspection and meditation

      • Art and creativity

      • Poetry

      • Studies

A classical Ayurvedic herbal formulation called Saraswatarishtam is known for many qualities that are represented in the Goddess Saraswati - Improving the memory and ability to absorb knowledge, improving the voice and improving immunity. Great for academics and musicians!

At the clinic we are preparing our own Saraswati Churna for clients (only available with consultation).

Made with Love in the Lakshmi kitchen.

We wish you a musical, creative and blissful Sunday.

With Love Karin and the Lakshmi team
