    Nayopayam Lehyam Benefits
Look what we made in Lakshmi’s kitchen.

If you suffering from bronchial asthma, wheezing, a respiratory ailment, hiccups, indigestion, chest congestion or gas troubles this formulation might be very beneficial for you!

    Homemade in Lakshmi’s Kitchen!

A classical Ayurvedic formulation called Nayopayam kashayam and in a jam consistency it is called Nayopayam Lehyam.

    We have both types available.

The main ingredients are the following three herbs/ spices.

    1. Bala

    2. Cumin

    3. Ginger

    Bala- Sida cordifolia

Bala is a Sanskrit word which means strength. Its stem and roots are tough and this is literally what they impart - inner strength. It s a nourishing herb especially for the nervous system.

      • Balya - strengthening

      • Brmhana - anabolic

      • Rasayana - rejuvenation

      • Jivaniya - life and energy promoting.

      • Jeeraka - Cumin

It has Deepana and pachana effect (digests toxins and enkindles digestion).

Relives gas, Anulomana (promotes the downward flow of Vata). Cumin clears mucus and congestion (Shirovirechana).

    Sunthi - Ginger

A universal medicine and an Ayurvedic practitioners best friend. Ginger clears Ama (toxins) from the plasma and blood. It warms the digestive system, increases Agni (digestive fire) and the secretion of enzymes. It clears colds and alleviates cough and breathing difficulties.

Fresh ginger is called Ardraka and dry ginger is called Sunthi.

Nayopayam lehyam is a wonderful formulation for so many ailments.
