How Well Do You Take Care of Your Teeth?

Teeth are considered an upadhatu of Ashti Dhatu, bone tissue.

Normal teeth are strong, white, smooth and without decay. Gums should be even, pink and smooth.

According to Sushruta, the author of Sushruta Samhita, fifteen diseases of the roots of teeth and gums are mentioned. Good oral hygiene is very important as part of our daily routine to prevent tooth and gum disease. Daily tongue scraping, oil pulling, cleansing and flossing are all recommended.

The Lakshmi shop has a variety of Ayurvedic products to implement into your daily routine. The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9am – 3pm. You are welcome to stop by and ask any questions regarding your oral health, recommendations and suggestions. We look forward to welcoming you 🌞
